    This was "New Old Stock" in an unopened box damaged on one end sold as "open box"; it was shipped promptly with the item in original box well packed an a larger package. On opening the box I found the item itself undamaged and working normally. Given the good price, this was an excellent Ebay transaction - thank you! I note that the high shipping costs were expected as the item is fairly heavy (16 lb) and contains a battery.
