Two CD collection from the British trio. With a lush Psych-Pop sound and lyrics inspired by the likes of Nick Drake and composer Steve Reich, Dream Academy stood out from the '80s British Rock pack. The band's Nick Laird-Clowes compiled, annotated and remastered this definitive Dream Academy package: The hits 'Life in a Northern Town' and 'Love Parade' plus key album cuts and rarities. The unreleased 'Living in a War', 'The Chosen Few', and 'The Last Day of the War' join the unissued instrumental of 'Power to Believe' and more. 24 tracks with guests David Gilmour, Johnny Marr, Lindsey Buckingham, Polystyrene and J.D. Souther plus a new song, 'Sun rising'.
