      The lamp is beautiful, but unfortunately, six of the eight slag glass panels broke during shipping and were in shards at the bottom. It seems one of the tabs holding the glass broke off, and those loose panes shattered another four, along with the light bulb. I do like the lamp and will have six new pieces of glass cut to repair it. The item seemed very carefully packed, but in the future you might consider stuffing some soft foam into the interior of this type of lamp to hold the glass panels.
