I know there are 39 and 40 spine versions, my original has 39 and so did this one, but it would not sit in the mechanism or lock into place. Luckily for me the plastic original was not broken so reinstalled that one and will now try to locate what else the problem could be. I have given positive feedback as this could be an error on either side.
