Yeah it's 8cr and 9cr or 14c28n, would be better but for the price it's still a good budget steel. It's very thin, but still have some weight but it make the knife feel solid. The handle is sandblasted or beadblasted wich add some grip and feels really nice. The downside : no overtravel stop for the framelock, the pocket clip is not reversible and bombed head screw
