The Seagate Momentus 5400.2 internal hard drive with a 2.5-inch form factor and enhances productivity with a 5400 RPM spindle speed for quick performance. This Seagate 60 GB hard drive offers a low power consumption, which reduces overall energy consumption and extends the battery life of a laptop. The Seagate Momentus 5400.2 features an 8 MB buffer, 12.5 ms average seek time, and 5.6 ms average latency, in addition to a sound emission of 29 dB. The internal hard drive offers a SATA interface for installation in a laptop and boasts QuietStep ramp load technology that makes the drive more durable while being virtually inaudible during data load and unload. The Seagate 60 GB hard drive has a maximum of 600,000 start/stop cycles with shock tolerance of 250 Gs at 2ms while operating and 900 Gs at 1ms while not in operation. Measuring 0.4 inches tall, 2.8 inches wide, and 4 inches deep, the Seagate 60 GB hard drive weighs only 0.22 lbs.
