    This Chromecast was indeed a 3rd generation device, in working order, and it arrived as described in the listing. It was not (originally) manufactured as "intended to be sold in the US" (I doubt the seller would have known that) but it had been pre-set to default to English for set-up and it works properly. It had not been factory reset, but that is a 10 second fix. It was properly packaged and arrived quickly. I've given it a good run-in; I got what I wanted/expected, and at a good price.
