Accompanied by a fiery dragon, an outlaw elf, a chivalrous knight, and an over-the-hill magician, Peter sets out on a quest to capture the Red Crown that empowers the wicked sorcerer. A precursor to directors Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin's epic TV series THUNDERCATS, THE FLIGHT OF DRAGONS includes a plethora of fantasy creatures--orcs, elves, dwarves, and, of course, dragons. Featuring an array of voices, including Ritter, Jones, Victor Buono, and Harry Morgan, the film successfully captures all the essential DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS-like elements and places them in a setting that is both educational and entertaining.
