The way the touchpoint works is sort of a tell, (the fake ones are pretty dead) as well as the inner size of the rubber bit, fake ones have odd sized ID on touchpoint rubbers, wont fit genuine. Uniform backlighting with no bright edges (due to wide spots between keys) as well. May buy a spare.

Seller didn't seem to care that their part actually did not work as advertised.
