The item connects to the PS2 dongle receiver with no issues. Is compatible with the non band hero games (just tried with guitar hero III so far; haven't tried with band hero yet) which is exactly what I wanted. Its hard to find these old controllers with all the parts so im really happy to have found an amazing deal that includes the receiver and all other parts of the controller.
