Seller Notes: “Good-Very Good overall antique cond: This mid-late 19th c, most likely German reticulated wire ... “Good-Very Good overall antique cond: This mid-late 19th c, most likely German reticulated wire filigree lg shell form basin w/floral leaf applique design dessert serving spoon, is unmarked but was reportedly tested in the auction from where it was initially sold. It's most likely at least .800 silver, if not a higher silver concentration of a silver alloy. I won't make the claim that it's .925 because I don't know & would be disingenuous to suggest it was. It hasn't been touched & is complete, without deformities, dents, dings or distortion of its extremely delicate reticulated silver wire filigree. It showcases a shell spoon basin, twisted & incredibly delicate handle stem, w/what appears to be rose leaves applied to the base of the spoon's neck & also at the end of the spoon's handle. There appears to be dusty white sediment present, seen especially & even somewhat noticeably on the underside of the spoon's basin. This may have been silver cleaner. Very fine & very beautiful. Clean.”
