I 3-D print square bases for the fixtures as it provides a larger base to help secure them and keep them straight. Wires are very thin so I use super fine sandpaper to lengthen the stripped area and then solder heavier gauge wire for attaching the wiring to terminal blocks. I power the fixtures with 12 vdc so the included resistors are used. The fixtures look great!
