when i received this Lancome refining dual essence, my expectation is that it should be like toner at least and penetrate the skin and make skin smooth and moisturized. but it isn't. The items arrived seemed like a few oil drops floating in the water, and the skin didn't feel any difference after applying, just like pat water on the face. Maybe something oil separation happened during the shipping caused this? I am not sure, but the end results are not what I expected.
