Thanks for the order. Your item was brand new in the sealed original plastic packaging which says "HONDA GENUINE PARTS" on it 3 or 4 times. The item is completely genuine and comes directly from Honda. I'm not sure why you would think it is anything but genuine. You are welcome to compare it with the same part from your local Honda dealer, and you will see that they are exactly the same.
