Trey Lorenz began his career as a background vocalist for Mariah Carey, accompanying her on tours and most memorably on Carey's appearance on MTV's Unplugged where she and Lorenz sang the Jackson 5's "I'll Be There". Not only did that performance climb the Billboard charts, it also landed Lroenz his first record deal. H e released his self-titled debut in 1992, and spawned the hit "Someone to Hold". Since then, Lorenz has sang vocals on blockbuster albums by: Ursher, Will Smith, Vanessa Williams, Jermaine Dupri and many others. Now Lorenz returns to the spotlight with his newest solo album MR. MISTA.
