The item was packaged in original box with a plastic wrapping and very secure. An issue with the USPS was noted due to the package being delivered soaking wet and I live in the desert and we had no rain in over a week. Product box had been placed in a protective cardboard box and that box was covered in plastic and sealed. Detectors were manufactured on March 27, 2025 and good for 10 years.
