About option HAILONG-PLUS 36V 20AH. Looks sturdy. Possible to charge through discharge wire, so already ok for regen braking. Capacity measured at just 18Ah under 9.4ohm load so -10% against claimed 20Ah, close enough, but looks like it has been built for 18Ah and not 20Ah. Discharge wire supplied while charging even if switch is off. I expected switch would cut power in any case. Some reinforcements provided for downtube mounting which is appreciated for such a weight. Good overall.
