I have used other Sata to USB devices which only work 100% correctly with hard disks and if you plug a a DVD-RW or CD they will not work, because the computer wont allow you to eject, and you would have to unplug the converter with power in in order to eject. But this device allows you to eject the DVD/CD from it without having to disconnect the Sata to USB converter from it.
