Seller Notes: “Good-Very Good overall antique cond: Offered for your review & consideration is this simply ... “Good-Very Good overall antique cond: Offered for your review & consideration is this simply fabulous & sensational heavy, hand forged cast iron sq stock, late 19th-early 20th c American antique English Tudor-style, monumental architectural elements & double swag arm wall sconces that accept long, tapered wax candles. They're heavy & substantial decorative objects & 100% orig & authentic. They were recently found in a finely appointed home on the South Shore of eastern MA, south of Boston. They were filthy & had been incorrectly repainted in ultramarine blue. We've since thoroughly & conscientiously cleaned them both of yrs of dust, silt & some surface oxidation & resprayed them w/several successive coats of a high quality satin enamel paint on top of an anti-rust red enamel primer. They're both complete & without noticeable deformities or structural weaknesses. In the classic English Tudor style & w/terrific Medieval northern European antique styling. They're ready to go. Magnificent.”
