The repair was done without any issues and upon my own inspection seemed perfectly fine and I am happy with the work done. The issue lies with how the device was closed up. Too much glue was used causing the digitiser to crack as the glue expanded. It was also a brand new digitiser but luckily the warranty covered unintended cracks. Aside from the process of putting it back together the FPC replacement was well done. Communication was present up until I reported the digitiser issue.
