- u***r (21)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThis was the only IDE/PATA to USB3 enclosure I could find. Glad it exists, and Not a bad deal. Though the plastic sled and weak powersupply suggest they hadn't really thought about the fact older drives tend to take more power and produce more heat... Rigging up an external powersupply isn't as easy as it sounds; it seems to confuse the USB chip, unless things are powered-up and plugged in in a very specific order. Less power-hungry drives work perfectly. Good deal and arrived quickly, Thanks!
