The first one I ordered for my Bach C-Trumpet seemed to add a little resonance and stability. I ordered another for my Bb which didn't do very much so I ordered another to try labeled M10. This one actually made the high Ab and a few other notes less responsive and a little less stable. Same with my Bach long bell D.
