Can't comment on lifespan yet but it works! Pretty easy to do, comes with a nice set of instructions and the seller seems really helpful. It's pretty much just open the remote (I'd recommend a guitar pick to avoid damage, orange 0.6mm Tortex is perfect for thickness and flexibility I reckon), clean the board with alcohol, snip out a button and peel off the backing, and put it on the contact. Took less than 2 weeks to arrive from the US
