Your Sims can also choose to adopt pets. Have your Sims take their dog to the park, bring their cat with them to the library, or ride their horse to the new equestrian center. New quests level-up pets and help your Sims. Your Sims love their new pets and all the things they can do. Similar to real-life furry friends, animals in “The Sims 3: Pets” grow and are trained to perform a variety of tricks and respond to commands. The pets also go into town with your Sims while they go shopping or run errands. Create perfect or imperfect pets for your Sims, from fierce guard dogs to destructive kittens, noble horses, and more. Players are able to determine not only how your Sims’ pets look but how they behave as well. Players control your Sims’ pet to chase, dig, tackle, and more. Decide if the pet is the perfect companion or wreak havoc on your Sims. Pets have their own traits, and players help to determine them just like they can determine the traits of their Sims. From intelligent, brave, and friendly to hydrophobic, skittish, and clueless, or gentle, fast, and agile, the fate of your Sims’ pets’ personalities rest in your hands. The pets also learn skills, much like human Sims. Both cats and dogs can learn to hunt in “The Sims 3: Pets” game. Dogs learn to locate items or help your Sim get a date with a lucky dog lover. Horses learn racing and jumping techniques. Players of the game take control of their Sims’ pets to experience the world from the pet’s perspective. See how your Sims handle a new member of their household, and discover new ways to play with them.
