Notes
Many specific areas of rock and roll music from the '50s and '60s have been mined by Ace, i.e. dance crazes, teen idols and rock instrumentals. Another interesting trend that peaked during this period was songs with girls' names. The CD is a mixture: some obvious top 40 chart hits, a few lower-chart songs, some that are fairly obscure and never charted but are by pedigree artists, at least one top 20 song that has never been on CD and three songs in interesting versions by their writers. Extensive sleeve notes by Billy Vera.
