      There was hidden damage to this violin (cracked bottom plate at neck) that was not practical to repair, rendering the violin unusable. The damage was not visible in the pictures. There was also a cheap finish slathered over the entire violin. It appeared the original finish had been stripped off permanently damaging the value and sound quality.
