The super-cardioid pattern provides powerful background sound rejection while collecting a warm, natural, transparent sound from the intended source. The handheld Sennheiser e945 dynamic cable professional microphone has a wide frequency response and uses technology that delivers consistent performance across a wide range of temperatures and environmental changes. The Sennheiser e945 has a frequency response of 40 to 18,000 hertz at a nominal impedance of 350 ohms. This wide range allows the Sennheiser e945 mic to pick up subtle variations of tone and pitch, which makes it a valuable vocal performance tool. The shock-mounted capsule gives the Sennheiser e945 dynamic mic a low sensitivity to handling and impact noise. This microphone also features a Hum Compensating Coil that reduces electrical interference and helps to provide a clean, clear sound.
