Also, there was an issue with the PTT button not keying the transmitter properly. There was damage to the PTT button internally due to someone replacing the RF shield incorrectly such that it crushed that button. Fortunately, I had access to a Motorola radio shop that had another switch and they replaced it. Radio works properly now.
