    New Clark drill sharpener. Useful DIY tool, tricky to use correctly, sharpens larger drill bits better and more reliably than small bits. Regret not choosing the cheaper lookalike clone as likely the same product without the big name. Unfortunately due to the design, drill bits cannot be viewed during sharpening. Bit of a gamble how well bits are presented to the concealed specially angled grindstone. Maybe practice makes perfect?

    Price is competitve, delivery was prompt and goods arrived in perfect condition. The design is very intuitive. I carried out a trial by sharpening some blunt 5mm HSS drills with good results, as demonstrated by drilling through a 3mm sheet of cortin steel. I found that it helps to use a strong magnifying glass in good light to examine the drill tip to check that two sharp edges have been restored.
