    Unlike a RF to coax adapter this device demodulates a RF signal and converts it to digital allowing output to HDMI. No more AV modding old video game consoles. The device has tons of options to format & tweak the RF picture & sound so that it is perfect (a RF to coax adapter results in poor quality & dark muddy images). To connect a NTSC TV you will need a PAL to coax antenna adapter and a RF to coax adapter (these are cheap buck and easy to find )since the input on the converter is PAL IEC.
