I tested the fan to make sure that it was working properly and discovered that, even after running for over 30 minutes, it only reached about 1100 RPM, which is about 50% of the 2200 RPM max +/-10% on the box, or 1800 in the listing here.
I alerted the seller, who immediately refunded me and didn't request that it be returned. Aside from that, the product seems ok, but I don't see a way to replace the fan.
Not LGA1700 compatible as stated.
