I asked the seller in advance of my purchase if the item was made in the United States they never got back to me. I went ahead and ordered it much to my disappointment I saw on the back of the package that it was made in China. That means something to me personally but I guess when you're focused on just making the sale get it not always going to take the time to look at some of the comments made. The item was well made and it looks nice, but I was disappointed that I didn't have an answer.
