I was willing to try to steam the hat to fix it but wasn’t sure how the foam would react. I spent $30 for the hat so I asked the seller for a partial refund ($14) in order for me to try to fix the hat. The seller only offered $10 and wouldn’t meet me halfway. As a seller myself I wouldn’t ever ship a hat in a bag. If an item was damaged I would work with the buyer in whatever way to make sure they had a good experience. I thought we had come to a satisfactory resolution. You had asked for a partial refund. I offered you $10 or the opportunity to return the item. Ultimately, you wanted the partial refund, which I gladly provided. As for the packaging, to keep shipping costs low for buyers, I use a shipping bag. I surrounded the cap with air pillows to keep it safe during shipping. I've done it on multiple orders in the past with success.
