I have used AutoCad and Solid Works packages at work before retiring, several years ago, and wanted to keep my hand in, designing small projects. the software could be improved by including some step by step tutorials as per the ones in Solid Works, which I find more useful than trying to follow a written manual which I find difficult to work with. Other than that, The software seems ideal for my requirements when I have worked my way through.
