This is a really cool hole punch, but unfortunately it does not punch 1/2" holes. It make 1/4" holes. I believe the seller measured a part that does appear to be 1/2 inch. But after receiving this item and using it to punch a hole and then measuring the hole, it is only 1/4 inch. Such a bummer. I wish I need this, unfortunately I need a punch that makes 1/2 inch holes.
