The item was definitely used, as described. It will need a thorough cleaning before use, but that's a small price to pay to avoid buying it brand new. It has no scratches in the finish, nor any built up residue you often see in secondhand cake pans. Very pleased I lucked out on finding this beauty and I can't wait to make a cake!
