Faulty 12ax7.. should have been tested as advertised, eventually replaced when an ebay case was opened. Second time I have used this seller, last time a duff el84 from a revalve kit which I did not have time to persue... untested tubes....

There is one strange thing about the 6l6GC tube. One of them was longer than the other, so I can not mount the heat protection grid without cutting into it. I guess it has happened in the production, but maybe Ampvalves should control that detail in the future. But the valves works, just a bit annoying when it comes to the installation. And also the job to return and get new ons if that is a possibility.
