This album is entitled 'Flowers' because I think of our lives as being precious, beautiful and fleeting, just as flowers are. Flowers are stunning and visually captivate our senses. Just as a human life is extraordinarily rare and beautiful like a flower, to me, time and life are precious. I believe we need to make the most of our lives. Live them completely and fully, the way a flower opens up to the sunlight naturally, seeking to become the fullest it can be. The concept of these songs are inspired by appreciating one another and taking time to reflect on how valuable our time is here in this one life we have to live. This mood is reflected in the songs that I have sung on this album. However, the instrumental songs on the album are a more fun, groovy expression of my soul. I love to laugh and not take myself or life to seriously at the same time. There is definitely a duality of moods expressed on this album.
