With adapter installed, video fades in and out to black screen but, as this is my first foray into hardware (I'm a software guy), I do not know if the problem lies with the PC or the video interface. The dark blue wire and red wire both snapped. The seller was out of parts currently to repair/replace but refunded my money and did say they would send a replacement. Great ebayer!!!
