- t***m (578)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseI was hoping this would be an extensive catalog of Lenzkirch regulator clocks. However, it was a catalog stating a little bit of various types of regulators from different companies. And only a few Lenzkirch clocks in it. I contacted the seller and he said Lenzkirch didn't have model names. Which in fact they did. He was of no help whatsoever. And wouldn't comment on why the book only had a few Lenzkirch clocks in it. Deceptive catalog name.Reply from: crunruh- Feedback replied by seller crunruh.- Feedback replied by seller crunruh.Strangest transaction in years. I am a book seller, not a horologist. Yet demanded to know why a book, by 2 of the foremost horologists, long associated w important research institutions, in print for 40+ years used by scholars & collectors, was deceptively titled. What can I say? I see Lenzkirch's 1870 catalog filled, oddly enough, w Lenzkirch clocks, none of which have a model name, just a style number. It's all in the detailed history. And then to lash out at the bookseller. What a nut!
