I can't believe that it cost less than the original BU-353 that I bought years ago. I connected it, started gpsd, xgps and within 5 minutes it had solid connections to 5 satellites and OpenCPN found it using the old BU-353 settings. The BU-353N supports the newer GPS SBAS service so it will work better in foreign countries.
