Having tried to buy the same lamp before with shards arriving packed the way I would have, I realize how complex packaging this truly is. The seller must be an art handler. The box shored up externally and internally with unbendable framing. I could go on, but suffice it to say s/he should teach a class on how to package fragile vintage items! Beyond grateful. Trust them!!
