Makes it feel like the real thing but if you like to push through that it will break and stay open like a broken in gaping hole and will no longer contract. Still will be usable but the function will be gone. Then the black rubber on the outside will eventually start to fall/rip off. Some with the material on the inside. Has temporary use

However, the thumb opening is too small (I wear gloves size XL or 8 women’s or S/M men’s.) In order to wear this comfortably, I would have to cut the binding off the thumb hole and hope it won’t gray too much. This brace is suitable for people with hands smaller than mine.
