    Very bad, do not buy, I bought 2 for a 2 monitor setup I have and the first one I plugged in got red hot, enough to burn me, the second one didn’t work, I don’t care for a refund but don’t risk your house burning down over a poor quality wire, I contacted the seller just to warn him this happened and they just ignored me, don’t buy this.

    hi Oliver, The circuitry draws power; Your cable has displayport as source and hdmi as target (one way non bi-directional), and is an active adapter, so the circuitry converts dp to the hdmi signal and that circuitry is heating up, because its working on said conversion. It does not get any hotter and is not a fire risk
