    Big end of the rod was round but my machine shop had to grind the caps to get the correct journal clearance. The small end bushings are all too tight for a slip fit with either set of wrist pins I tried. Had to hone out all the bushing for proper clearance. My two sets of Pauter rods were better quality and fit perfectly. Of course they were 4x the cost of this set. Generally speaking, the stated specifications for these rods as stated in the ad were not accurate.
