    These are not 'extended' gear shift foot pegs. They are exactly the same length as the original equipment which are too short. The mounting threaded screw bolt is a potential danger as it is too short into the peg and lacks a professional Allen Headed through bolt which will take the strain of thousands of gear selection selections. I will not fit it to my 1200 Sportster
