The Belgian Art collector found a gem ๐ in this LARGE, beautifully carved, polished like old ivory, and subtly patinated in an amber hued sfumato. The face is so expressive, this Meerschaum looks alive. You rarely see Meerschaum carved like this today. An artifact from the Golden Age of Meerschaum, Fin-de-Siecle Europe. A Treasure!!! ๐๐
