My unit came with a touch screen interface which could not be removed. This screen didn’t have that and is thinner without the interface. I used weather foam strips as a bracket to fit the gap created to not allow dust into the unit. This is definitely intermediate DIY and not a straight drop in. Nevertheless it is the same screen and interface cable and was able to get it the display unit working again.

I tested it with adapter cables; the contrast should be set to 200. So, it's very old. I can't contact the seller. I'm blocked by eBay. How are we going to fix this?
