The body is solid Mahogany as are the back and sound board giving the instrument a rich tonal palette with very excellent sustain. The strings are high quality phosphor bronze and steel with ball ends going through the body block adding to the sustain. Tuning posts are autoharp style well set in the block. I tuned and played the instrument twice which was enough to fully stretch them after which tuning was entirely stable. Top quality materials, excellent tone and sustain. Worth much more.
