I bought this router a few days ago and called Netgear for assistance. I was told eBay is NOT an authorized dealer for selling this product. Furthermore; the item itself was out of warranty since it was bought by the dealer sometime in 2023. The vendor never mentioned that the [brand-new] item I was buying didn't have any warranty. Netgear never helped me with the configuration and wanted me to buy on-line support costing $99.00 for an item I paid $30. Not happy with the seller...

We are very sorry for your dissatisfaction in your order. Unfortunately, most name brands will not honor any warranties if the item in question was not purchased directly from them or their approved sellers, for understandable reasons. We did not advertise in our listing that this came with a warranty that would be valid, and most of our inventory originates from liquidations and overstock.
